Combined tool box disappeared

I found the final item I needed last night for the healing automaton quest in Shadow Haven on my character Luuna. I did the combine and placed the combined tool box back in the original tool box container, as I was low on bag space. When I got back to turn it in to the gnome, the combined tool box was missing.
I have looked everywhere but it's not in my bags. You can check the quest to see that I'm up to the turn in point. Can you please find my combined tool box and give it back to me? I really don't want to do this quest again. It took so long. Please help. Many thanks.

Thank you! This was my first petition and I was a little lost.
