West Commonlands Halloween

Happy Halloween!

Had a go at some of the events in West Commonlands tonight which were fun but they are more trick then treat currently :)

1) The Webspinner and Walker Jaldin only seem to spawn the tier 1 difficulty - I didn't try tier 7 and 9 (didn't want to get wiped incase!)
2) The Webspinner mobs don't seem to spawn in the right place, 2 spawn in the trees but the rest spawn over by a skeleton tower to the east.
3) The difficulty of tier 5 seems extremely hard. We just did fear and killed Cazic which would seem like a reasonable gauge to compare against and this is way harder then that - assuming it was tier 5 of course, the reward was tier 5 I think: http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... ?id=122781 The tank with defensive was being hit for up to 19k a swipe! Worth bearing in mind we have no donator items at all this play through.
4) I think the spawning of the mobs might be messed up in general, they spawn, then run over, then they kind of warp around a bit then suddenly appear on top of you, it can be hard to time the AoE aggro.

19k hits against defensive (so well over 30k hits without) don't seem like T5 or T6 (or T7 or T8 for that matter :)). Seems odd.

I did indeed notice this toon. Vyrial was getting hit waaaay harder than he should've for only a Tier 5 difficulty lol.

The tier 9 difficulty for the werewolf event the boss was hitting me for 110k lol

I didnt know what to expect. so the 110k hits may be what's suppose to happen? I havent had time to go back and try again. I will later today.

Webspinner spawns fail and get hung up somehow. Sasha doesn't chat at all. The others worked fine on Tier 9.

The name of the mob was A Werewolf Mischiefmaker I believe, and An Enraged Pumpkin. The final boss mobs that comes after the wave of mobs for the West Commonlands events. I suspect the other ones would be the same but like I said I couldn't get tier 5 to spawn on those ones.

The events are fun. Seems like they work best if you set up a distance aways from the NPC who starts the events with a "ready" signal. Have one group member say ready and then CoTH the member to the group before the event starts. Haven't figured out how to get the spider event to come to a conclusion, I get the first and second spawns and then it hangs up.

The Webspinner event, a bunch of the spiders in each wave spawn over to the east under ground, so someone has to run over and fetch them, as long as you kill them all within range of the quest giver then all the rounds should spawn, at least that's what I found.
