The Hidden Forest

Hello there. I'm noticing that there are some irregularities with illusions post-halloween. Some characters are always in illusion form. My rogue, for example is a warewolf when I log in. I can get rid of it by casting a different illusion on him and then clicking it off. But, as soon as he ports to another zone, he's a warewolf again. Anyone else having similar issues?

There's a special Halloween item with worn illusion effect, when you have it equiped, you are a warevolf. I think that's is, right?

Didn't realize that the mask did that without clicking on it. And I take it the belt of frost is responsible for the other perma-illusion I keep experiencing?

Is there any way to make these illusions such that they can be clicked off?

The warewolf mask that you just linked indicates that its supposed to be a clicky illusion, where as the belt says worn.

Yes, they are. There are a few items like this. There are several Werewolf Hide Mask, I linked the wrong one, sorry. This is one of those worn versions: http://www.thehiddenforest.org/webtools ... ?id=122730 and you are correct, same for the Belt of Frost.

These are special items, the worn2 illusion effects are meant to be permanent like a Halloween 'curse'.

As far as I remember, if you hand in the halloween item to the donator exchange fairy (in guildhall and forest), she will hand back a version without the illusion effect.

Wow! I thought of asking if we could allow disable of illusions.. after getting some Hallow items last year, i wanted to be "me" again but keep the stats.. but then i thought that wasnt very thematic and shallow request... i like the "curse" notion that the power of these items alters your form.. and that jives with my reluctance to ask...

but if i can swap for a non-illusion form, thats pretty neat and will try!

handing to Trizy destroys Augs.. and ive been putting my best augs on this gear so, staying cursed in a shroud of frost.

That's a client side message but she's actually not eating augs.
