My bard Donovann handed in four Word of Chaos and the Scribe gave the usual success msg and put the spells in the bards spell book,. However, I don't recall this being the normal way that it works. I seem to recall that, if a toon already had that spell (albeit at a lower rank), a popup window would come up that would name the spell and ask if you wanted to replace it. Or something like that...

But this time he simply scribed the spells in the first available spots.

Should I simply delete the lower ranked versions, or should I wait for devs to fix it...?

Same thing happened with my cleric Doradak today.

I was going to try a hand in with my enchanter Abin, but I accidentally gave the Word to Vismier instead of Gurthrix. I can safely say that Vismier does NOT grant spells.

Just a few minutes after I made my last post here, I did a hand in with my bard Donovann again and I got the window, but the new spell did not replace the old spell. It did replace the old spell in the spell gem bar.

Today, turned in one Words from my chanter, two from my secondary cleric and one from my ranger. The spells were simply written into the spell book instead of replacing the old spells. And, I am unable to manually delete the old spell in my chanter's spellbook. Have not tried this with the other two guys.

Kinda on a different topic but same NPC. I was curious if there would be a way to add the script of how many spells you have left to obtain when you hail him? Without turning in words he just tells you not to waste his time and it would be nice to know how many spells we have left . Please and thank you <3.

Yeah...I'm having to keep an extra Words in my bank, just so I have something to turn in, in case I forget.

When you get old and forgetful, this is one of the things you sometimes have to do. 8-P
