Powerful Temper For epic 2.0 quest

I'm working towards my Epic 2.0 on my Shadowknight and when I went to buy the "powerful temper" from umbo and I did not have near enough platinum, any ways to farm platinum like killing hill giants, etc.?

LDoN's have a lot of gems too.

Or you can hit up the Bank of Mystickitty if you see me online . Not a whole lot of use for plat on server lol. But yeah epics and VP gear can be steep if u are newer.
