Raid Bugged

I'm wondering if there is a character file that can cause this problem. I typically run 2 accounts, and while one of them rarely, if ever, gets raid bugged, the other is nearly always raid bugged. Not only does that character get bugged, but often zoning/logging completely to desktop doesnt fix the problem. So before I go and delete the entire character files for this toon/account I was wondering if anyone knows of an issue with any particular file getting corrupt and causing this issue.

Thanks!

Oh, I should mention I am running them both out of the same Eq folder, so if it is a corrupt file I imagine it would it would be specific to that account/character.

when u say "raid Bugged" which issue do you mean? be easier for people to help if u posted a bit more info such as what happens and what your doing when it happens.

there are a few known issues with raids on this server, so could be one of those.

I mean no raid experience, no quest flags (such as ToV kills for 2.0), cant loot mobs until timer is up. Just as if I am group bugged, but even logging completely to the desktop didnt fix it. Although I could click disband and it would drop me from the raid.

I'm hesitant to say that the raid itself wasnt bugged, but I know my other toon in the same raid, on the same computer was not. Therefore I would think the raid as a whole was fine. It happens pretty consistently with this one character.

Do you always login the second character second? Maybe part of the bug has to do with files in use, and if you always load the bad character second, the second instance running is the issue. If you mix and match the loading, then my questions are sorta moot. I know I allways ruun each acct on its own folder/EQ. Another idea.. bots cause some issues with raid. Are you using a bot on that bad character? Good luck with it.

No bots if we are in raid. Also have the same issue with another char in guild who rarely boxes and was not boxing on this last raid in ToV. He was not getting XP nor did he get 2.0 kill credit for any of the dragons we had killed

Typically I did start each account in the same order. Last night just for grins I switched the order. It made no difference at all.

I logged in, zoned into ToV, and joined a fresh raid. She never got a single hit of raid xp all night. We killed a bit in ToV, then went to Ssra and did Emp.

I also have the same bug on my toon. I never box, only have one account and only have one toon. I have never gotten exp on any raid I have been a part of which is only 3 or 4, but never once have I gotten exp.

Honestly doing a Raid its not worthy it besides for the need for some Quest stuff.
The main reason why you would want to do a Raid would be Raid Leader AA, however you are unable to gain any of those AA's currently.
In regards of XP i believe only the 1st group if at all will see a XP message.

And in regards of loot the only way you will be able to loot the moment if th Mob died is "if" the leader of the raid change the settings to "looter specific"(or whatever its called) and than assigns everyone that can't wait 2 mins and 30 seconds as looter(and even than alot of stuff like zoning, adding a new member ......... can reset the loot seetings).

But if you think about it honestly why would you need to use a raid (besides the need for a few quests)?

I have played with Raid settings before, for nothing more then the credit and being able to loot with out wait. In my guild there are time after the kill the main group moves on to the next kill and you are setting there waiting to loot.
In the Raid options there is a place that says loot Click that to Everyone. I have never had a problem with looting set that way even after deaths and zoning. As long as there is no bots in groups. As for the exp i dont know but there is some setting for exp. in there but i haven't done anything with it before

I do like the raid function, and which it was me stable I have always thought it was a great tool, Specially in live when you could raid with several guilds at once easy communication if they not all in guild,
