Mob warps to PC when pulling with pet

So I got my enchanter the donator and have been trying to pet tank in kael with charmed giants.. works well. sort of.

A lot of the time the mob will warp on top of me the very INSTANT i hit the '/pet attack' button. This has caused many a wipe. Tis a sad thing. It happens even when pulling with slow and then sending the pet in to intercept the mob

This will happen if the charmed mob has the summon ability.

Two ways to stop this:

1) go infront of group, and tell the pet to guard. Then move away from it. When you tell it to attack it will summon to itself, not ontop of you.

2) Keep the charmed pet healed 100%

I've got a donor enc, and I know that mobs that summon once charmed need a lot of careful work to stop them from appearing on top of you. The best approach is to tell the pet to guard though. A cleric bot will heal the bot slowly, but some mobs ahve tons of hps so can take a while. Would be nice if they could make charmed pets loose the summon ability. I no longer have the charmed pet following me, unless im moving position. All the time I set it to guard now.

Glad I could help. Once you get used to the donor charm pets, you can be ruthless with them.

Your pet is very lazy, just like mine. Another way to avoid this summoning affect is to move closer to the mob before telling it to attack. If your charmed pet has to move to far to engage it gets anoyed and just calls it to your feet.

Or you can just use it to summon mobs outside of a pets normal range of agro.. Sounds like a plan to me. Although when I first charmed a wolf in Kael and it summoned a giant on top of me.. I was like Oh shi...dead
