a few problems for a new player

1. i have been having some troubles with the resolution. initially it would run full screen, but when u tried to click anything it would drop back to the desktop. i got it to open in windowed mode, now the resolution of that window wont change. ive tried changing it in the options editor to no avail. if i alt+tab to full screen it, it just shows my desktop.

2. when its "working" i can get to the char creation/selection screen, but i cant see any of the buttons. im thinking its either because the buttons are off screen because the resolution is too small or missing because of a bug.

im running vista, and this is the titanium client.

i dont know what im doing wrong. any help is appreciated

Im not sure how to fix this, but to 'circumvent' it in a way is to download WinEQ2. By default it keeps it off of Full-Screen mode but keeps it at the maximum window size for your monitor. Resolution is change-able. It is also free =)

try copying your character file out of the eq directory and logging in. you will lose your UI, but this worked for me in the past when i had a similar problem. If it doesn't work for you, you can always paste it back. you might also look into the options tab from login, you can change some of the display options there.
