I've seen this once or twice - recently with the quest turn-in for 7th charm. Turned in the head, and Ripley ate it. I had already opened a post, and was getting ready to show my screenshot. After I zoned, I looked again, mostly in frustration, and found it in my bag. Went back, turned it in again, and got my trophy.

If it happens again, get your screenshot, zone, and check again....you never know.

Can you give me anymore info on what you were doing right before it was deleted? I've been trying to trace this issue for awhile now and I've been having difficulty replicating what causes this.

Things that I need to know:
What item was deleted?
Did the item have any augments?
What slot was it in when you picked it up and it was deleted?
Did you try swapping the item with another before it was deleted?
Was your inventory full?
Were you tradeskilling? If so what recipie/items were you combining?
Were you looting a corpse and swapping out the item?
Did you try to auto equip the weapon by clicking the item on the auto equip area in inventory and then remove it by clicking on the item?
Were you trying to augment this item at all?
Did you hav another item on cursor at the same time?

Any information you can give me may help in figuring this out.

I had a range-slot weapon deleted (and replaced by Micah) that may give you some information:


What item was deleted?

Did the item have any augments?
Item - Ancient Sword of the Champion w/ 2 augs - Sturdiness and Augmentation of True Order

What slot was it in when you picked it up and it was deleted?
I was using bandolier to do weapon swaps. I was linkdead when the item poofed. Before I was LD I was summoning throwing stars and my inventory was prettymuch full. I think it had to do with my use of bandolier.
Did you try swapping the item with another before it was deleted?
Was your inventory full?
Yes.
Were you tradeskilling? If so what recipie/items were you combining?
No.
Were you looting a corpse and swapping out the item?
No.
Did you try to auto equip the weapon by clicking the item on the auto equip area in inventory and then remove it by clicking on the item?
No.
Were you trying to augment this item at all?
No.
Did you hav another item on cursor at the same time?
Yes, when I came back online I had a stack of 20 stars in my cursor and inventory was full.


Special note, when I was discussing reimbursement with Micah she mentioned that her system showed the item being in a certain bag slot. It was not in that slot ingame or on magelo but her records indicated otherwise. I was asked to camp and come back. The item did not come back on its own - It was returned with all augments (Great service, too, might I add)

The same issue happened previously with arrows.
I was using bandolier to switch out range weapon for pulls
Received error that ran out of ammo, when clicking on the arrows received same delete message.
Roughly 30-45 minutes prior to primary being deleted.


Put new arrows in ammo slot and used bandolier multiple times again (set for auto swap).
After a few pulls noticed that my hand to hand was going up even though weapon showed in inventory.
Opened inventory and clicked on primary slot -- weapon deleted.

I have not removed anything from my inventory if you wanted to look at that -- quite a few spots open.
Weapon is still showing in bandolier slot

Item Deleted was Primary Weapon, slot 13 : Bloody Skullcracker's Toothpick -- 4000 LDON points
Augmented with Storm Stun or Strike

No other items on cursor
Was not using tradeskills
Just finished killing giant then finished looting, opened inventory and clicked primay slot to remove and replace to see if that resolved hand-to-hand being used. Item deleted at that point

The item did not come back on its own - It was returned with all augments (Great service, too, might I add)

Just as a side note, remember per our reimbursement policy we will only reimburse items that are not repeatable (such as in the case of Deadspirit's epic 1.5.)

closing this topic since it turned pretty much into an offtopic. also clear it up.

The item reimbursement policy is like that for a good reason. It's not about how hard to get an item, it's about being able to get it again or not. Reimbursing non-repeatable quest/other items is already eating up lots of our resources and if we would have to do it for every single item, well it's simply would be impossible to fulfil. Also, I believe that it's pretty fair that we do reimburse unrepeatable quest items unlike other servers where they'll simply ignore your request.
