The Hidden Forest

I am currently unable to log into EverQuest to see a list of emulated servers. Also, I can't seem to visit the eqemu web page to troubleshoot my problem. Anyone have any idea why I would be having both of these problems?

double check your "EQhost.txt" file and make sure its set for the EQemu login

File should look like:


[LoginServer]
Host=login.thehiddenforest.org:5999

or


[LoginServer]
Host=login.eqemulator.net:5999

(Note if your using titanium the ports need to be 5998 not 5999)

I was having some issue accessing the eqemu forums a bit ago. Might have been a temporary routing problem. Or what Bront said.

I've been having problem either logging in all weekend. Also when zoning about half the time the character would never make it. It started Friday night, was all good before that.

Use THF login server. It is far more reliable.

I am trying to login using UF and I get to character screen all fine, then i get a "SERVER DID NOT RESPOND" black screen after clicking on a character. I can't create a character either as the buttons are not active

My eqhost.txt is correct, my reso is correct, etc. It happens on THF login server and EQEMU login server. Any ideas?

did you make sure you had all your missing files from UF set up?

not sure if that would cause issues with login screen there but it might.

I'm using the THF login server, my files are all up to date, everything is fine this morning I've changed nothing on my end. It's server side I'm sure, and perhaps the server is getting overwhelmed on weekends? Just bringing it to the attention of the people who can check. Thanks.
