I know this is the kind of info that should go onto the Wiki but the fact that it's not there seems to suggest to me that most people figure this stuff out then just carry on with life.

So I say we get a thread going on neat things all new players should know as well as some warnings for things that don't work like they did on live.

Example 1: Mage water pets are tuned to be are general use pet instead of Air.

Example 2: Pet hold is broke for UF and working for TI

Example 3: Pet focus and Pet no cast work for UF but not for TI

Example 4: You can only sale Augments in TI. If you try in UF you'll crash.

Example 5: Beserkers cannot Tank, no really they can't.

Example 6: Ping rate not download speed is what determines if you have a good connection on EmuEQ. Biggest help I've seen to date on connection issues is to bounce your router.

So on and so forth.

1 : Your bot will always be retarded ( exept if it's a rogue bot )
2 : Everything is quick to 70 , everything is slow when you hit high end
3 : best bot when you are new here is paladin , it will tank/heal/save your life
4 : best dps bot are rogue / monk . rogue is easy because not retarded ( see #1 )
5 : if you wanna play here, keep all your files up to date with the lastest server update
6 : if something is wrong with your client , or you have a wierd issue , please see #5
7 : Wars are the best tanks for single target and named tanking, Knight are king of aggro
8 : Wizards are king of dps , followed by Monk/rogue/zerler
9 : even if you see no gm in /w all gm , there is one online , just petition or pm on board
10 : Micah loves girls and boys
11 : When you start here , don't try to rush to the high end , take your time and explore the custom low level zone ( also be sure to start the headhunterquest , best faceslot pre t7 )
12 : Shaman and druid . here shaman are made to buff melee , druids to buff casters. ( even if druids need some loving to be balanced with shm )
13 : if you wonder what class you can add to your boxing setup , start with a bard.
14 : Don't be affraid to ask for some help.
