Strange Effects

So I just persuaded my buddy to join THF and was trying to get off to a quick start. He came to the bazaar where my box army is parked for some buffs. I first cast endowed temp on him, which didn't take, then woa. That didn't take either, but what he did get was a 3 hour "activate roboboar" effect and a 120 minute "dust blast" effect in the effect window. Oh yeah, and he went totally blind. Could neither click off the effect nor cure it. Has this happened before? Really a bummer of a way to convince a new player how great the server is 8-(

He probably needs the latest spell file or he played on a different server and needs reinstall

Is your TGB off? use /tgb on
