I am a tab targeting user. While this is a minor request, it is something that impacts myself and others daily. That being said, is there any way to reclassify swarm pets to something that stops them from being tab targetable?

Swam pets frequently block my tank / dps assist from picking targets quickly, since mouse clicking targets is simply not that effective.

Example swarm pets are: necro 2.0 clicky, all AA swarm pets (including cleric exquisite benediction), CT brain buff, and many more.

Of course, I'd love to keep guild hall teleporter summons tab-targetable =), but I'd sacrifice that ability for better tab targeting while in combat!

I think the problem is if they make swarm pets untargetable by players characters swarm pets become untargetable by npcs too. This makes them invulnerable and capable of crazy feats. What about if all swarm pets gained a limited duration like the AA swarm pets have. Then if they're invulnerable it won't become a problem?

I get ChaosSlayer's point, but that point isn't exactly what I'm asking.

I am not asking for swarm pets to be untargetable, but rather for them to be classified like player pets are (if possible). Player pets are not tab targetable, yet targetable by both players and npc's.

We will check this out, but I believe if that is the case swarm pets could be buffed, hasted, etc. making it a bit expoloitish. As I said though, we will check it and act accordingly.

Im pretty certain you already can buff/heal etc Swarm Pets. At least you could do on live.
