Mana Flare

Now, I maybe missing something, but I thought the spell Mana Flare was supposed to increase spell damage and generate little or no aggro?

The Ssra item : Collar of the Brood (http://thehiddenforest.dyndns.org/item.php?id=4081) has the mana flare clicky. But it doesn't seem to increase spell damage or do anything? Can someone else please verify if this is correct or not. I looked at the spell details on the alla clone, they look something like:

Spell effects
1 : Effect type : by 100
2 : Effect type : Limit: Spell Type(Detrimental only)
3 : Effect type : Limit: Effect(Hitpoints allowed)
4 : Effect type : Limit: Target ()
5 : Effect type : Limit: Spell(Mana Flare)

That doesn't look quite right to me, so I looked on Lucy and found:

Slot Description
1: Trigger on Cast: Mana Flare Strike
2: Limit: Spell Type (Detrimental only)
3: Limit: Effect (Hitpoints allowed)
5: Limit: Spell (Mana Flare Strike excluded)
6: Limit: Combat Skills Not Allowed
7: Limit: Max Level(100)
8: Unknown #348 (100/10/0)
9: Stacking: Block new spell if slot 1 is effect 'Trigger on Cast' and < 100
10: Stacking: Overwrite existing spell if slot 1 is effect 'Trigger on Cast' and < 100

A lot more items listed by Lucy to be sure, but me not being an expert on spell effects, who knows...

It's intended to work similiar to panther, but for casters. It has a chance where, if someone nukes a mob, it may proc an addition DD. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on emu Ive also tested it before (theirs a mana flare click from protector in seb), and had no luck.

humm, how about replacing the clicky on the necklace with something that does work...like Manaburn with a 100% chance to crit!!

Sooo - Manaflare is not working? That sucks! We have Manaflare since Sebilis and no one ever mentioned this.

That's why i want more casters on this server!
