Cancel Magic, Ranger lvl 30 spell

Cancel Magic, Ranger lvl 30 spell: cannot "memorize" it as one of my 8 spells.

Healing, Ranger lvl 38, copied to my spell book at level 36.

the Healing should be lev 35 - so its fine.
Why you can't mem Cancel magic - I don't know its listed as lev 30

Could not memorize healing until level 38.

I have 8/11 spell file.

Cancel Magic is in spell book, but when I click on it i cannot get an icon to put into a spell gem slot.

This doesnt effect everyone but has solved the issue for most.

Is this a fresh install of eq, that has NOT been on another server ? (no fibs to get out of installing a fresh install, for some this is an issue)

Did you remove/rename the old spell file from the eq directory before placing the new THF spell file there ? (the spell file does not like to overwrite the original existing spell file unless it is a previous dated one from THF).

If I read right some days ago healing spell levels have been rewamped. Check if you are above required level for the spell.
