Spells, not working as expected/intended (here you go Micah)

Said I'd start doing this a few months ago and left, so here it is.

Spells not working as intended (or so I believe). This first batch will just focus on two for now, i'll find the rest again as I get back into the swing of playing.

Druid 69 Root "Spore Spiral"
Currently a waste of mana/time etc as it is not fully functional.

Spore Spiral (69) VS Savage Roots (64)
Duration: 1m VS 4.5m
Mana: 200m VS 75m
Resist Check: -50mr VS -30mr
Cast: 3s VS 2.5s
Recast: 15.0s VS 2.25.0s

"Fires a cluster of spores at your target that will fling them backwards and root them to the ground for a short time."

Viewing both AllaClone and Lucy for the live version, both spells only show

Because the live version doesn't show a knockback on the slot effects I have to assume its working from some sort of hook in the spell that causes it on their end.

Request for change;

To make this spell worth using as an upgrade here I suggest adding a knockback (based on the direction you face) for rooting/pushing out of melee range.

OR

Upgrade the duration/mana/recast/res check etc to be more in line with root progression and just turn it into a regular root. Change the flavor text in this case.

Enchanter Donor Weapon Clicky version 2.0 Stacking Issue and Slot use Issue
"Visage of the Enchanted" and recourse "Vision of the Enchanted"


First, very nifty buff, adds a lot of needed oomph to the enchanter but it is trouble causing in *my opinion* so I would like to bring this potential issue to light.

Without going into the buff itself I'll just go into the problem

STACKING
Slot 1: Illusion: Gargoyle

This causes everybody in the group who is using some sort of utlity illusion (such as elementals, or other illusions with nifty effects) to lose their longer term illusions by overwriting them.

This can be fixed easily enough by simply changing the gargoyle illusion effect to another slot. Maybe 11.

SLOTS
When the enchanter uses the clicky, the entire group has to use a buff slot for it. Cool. The enchanter has to use 2 buff slots because the enchatner gets a separate (shorter) buff that gives them 100% twincast for a short time.

Please consider making the self only recourse "Vision of the Enchanted" list under the Song/Short Term Buff window.

I believe the usefulness of this Donor Item is cut down due to these two things. Especially the first, as in my personal opinion a Donor Clicky is somewhat special and the user shouldn't have to worry too much about if using it is going to remove another DIFFERENT bonus. Now if its the same bonus (such as a certain clicky regen) overwriting I think thats all dandy, but because its two illusion effects (which in of themselves do nothing) conflict it creates an issue.

Additional Justification: On live (if you are trying to maintain parts of the underlying system) you can use two illusion buffs before they start getting blocked (not overwritten usually). That might be a pain to code something like that, which is why i just suggested changing the slot.

More visage of the enchanter stacking.

Not only is it knocking off other illusions but it also is removing beastlords self proc "Call of the Beastmaster.

Visage of the Enchanted clicky and Call of the Beastmaster both share an added proc in slot 2.

Knights storm and upgrades are unnaffected as their added proc is in slot 9. Shaman panther and fail clickies are slot 5 and thus unnaffected.

SK lifetap proc shrouds are unnaffected

Unnaffected Spell lines thus far (can only test so many due to limitations in what classes I have to play).

SK Lifetap buff (slot 1 proc)
Ranger Proc Buffline (Slot 1 proc)
Shaman Panther/Fail Clicky (slot 5 proc)
SK/Pal Knight storm/upgrades (slot 9 proc)

I'm sure there are more unnaffected, and likely some more affected, but I only looked up the stuff i immediately could remember.

Beastlords really need everything they have to compete in the DPS arena, please dont kill off that buff line. Changing the proc slot on either one would fix it, but of course in the wonderful world of similar effects in slots on spell data interacting with eachother it can be a pain to find the perfect one, sometimes shuffling other effects, and then more etc into different slots - but there aren't too many different proc buffs so it shouldn't be so bad as say, changing a buff that affects HP or damage.

Further suggestion on illusion stacking to prevent cheesing.

If the illusion: Gargoyle component is changed from slot 1 to another slot, I would suggest also changing the illusion: Scarecrow component of nights dark terror to the same slot so that the enchanter donor will continue to overwrite that one, thus prevent two illusions providing lifetaps at the same time as other tap sources (sk buffs, weapons, spells) .

Nights Dark Terror's lifetap is already also on slot 2 however so it would probably be overwritten as is (like the beastlord proc buff).
