What use is rog pick lock?

Well here is my huge problem with these doors. I cant pick lock them but i can illusion through them. Either way they are bypassed. So with that being said why is one able but not another. Either way there are ways around the locked door that cant be picked.

I assume you realize that illusioning thru a locked door could be considered an exploit and against the rules

It is a game mechanic that has been around since the start of illusions. Hince why live removed it from happening im just pointing out facts. Live removed the function because of that purpose last year. It is not as if the illusion and door trick is unknown as most of all eq elders all know of this trick and do it. I am not saying its wrong or that its right but its a feature that devs didnt think of at the time of making illusions. If the team here felt it was indeed a exploit im quite sure it would be disabled with pick locks both do same exact thing. Or perhaps they forgot about it or never thought of it either way ive watch thousands do it throughout eq time.

They may use this information to implement a change to it just throwing it out there that this is possible. I have been a guide for live eq since the program started and work closely with Hluwolf over there on a exploit team so simple things like this are what im set out to find and have them fixed. Such as the invis wall in VT we put in eons ago for easy access into kaas wings. Which i do see the dev team knew about as that wing is empty and or should be triggered to spawn them. But im capable of dropping in on kaas goos in under 20 seconds of being in the zone. A invis wall would easily fix this just an example along with illusion trick that i do for Daybreak.
