Any commentary on how the crit worked on live? If anyone has a link to a *good* description, that would be fine too.

I'll try to be better about letting Tyler know when things are "fixed" so he can revisit changes after his adjustments if he wants :mrgreen:

It essentially increased damage of all critical melee hits by a percentage. Just the crits, though, and only the damage, not the frequency, as far as I remember. Was a fantastic tool during burns on raid targets with the dps group (zerkers especially, with their multitude of discs).

I guess I misunderstood you then? The epic already has a HoT component in it, the only other group heal that could b e used is a direct heal.

Another 1.5/2.0 click that's suffering the same critical hit issue: Ranger 1.5/2.0. The ranger epic increases crit chance by(170) and increases accuracy by 170. Rangers lose out on half of their epic clicks because the crit chance boost doesn't work. I'm guessing 170 is probably opposite to the bard instrument mod. For bards 170 percussion mod would be about 1700% song boost. That seems too high (unless it's intended for the caster to crit every hit) so that's why i'm saying 170 is likely meant to be a 17% boost in both accuracy and chance to crit hit.

Ok, 170% means 70% increase. If it's not working we have 2 options

1) wait until someone fixes this
2) replace it with something else

I know Striat is pretty busy atm, thought should have more time next week. Not sure IF it can be fixed (prolly can)

If you prefer something else, let me know what you'd like to see on the epics.
Item Change -> Reload needed
Spell Change -> Reload AND new Spellfile needed

If Striat can fix it, then i say wait. If not though then i think the best bet would be to adjust the spells and removing all crit chance components, replacing them with raw dmg boosters.

Personally, I'd love to see it get fixed. If it absolutely can not be fixed, then Jeido's suggestion is spot on. A raw damage boost would be ideal, as a replacement for the lost dps boost from the crit modifier.
