I can parse without buffs, but I test with them to reflect real boss situations. My pets are never buffless so I wanted to see which respond best to the buffs available.

I did not notice that the pets don't recast buffs, though... that could change things. I originally hedged my bets on the rogue pet because of the self buff giving 8-10% more flurry chance than any other pet.

That being said, do you still want buffless pet parses?

Buffless is easiest to see the base dps of each pet. You can do both if you want. Although I'm sure I already know the line up of the pets since I spent a good 5 hours balancing them the other week.

Also remember that the rogue and monk may dish out more dps initially (first 60s or so) but they won't recast their dps buffs till they are out of combat. Where as the zerker will keep casting his proc throughout the entire fight.

Again, each pet brings something a little different to the table depending on what you need them to do.

No buffs, but done in Guild Hall so monk/water buffs stayed (I believe) no weapons. time is in seconds.

Yeah GH and nektulos will keep the buffs ticking. I always test in arena with a spawned dummy. I can set one up tomorrow for y'all if you guys want for more accurate parses.

I do my parses with no buffs, so that's probably why my results are different.

Would love a dummy in a zone like the arena for this. Thanks

Check arena. I attempted to manually add a spawn point for vlar next to flinx in the zone.

0 buffs, vlar in arena. Donor focus item. Interesting just how much of a difference buffs and pet toys seem to make for the dps of the water and fire, not as much on the air.

Was parsing them all for 5 minutes each with full buffs on. Berserker, Rogue then Monk. Berserker won by approx. 3k dps. Anyone else have any parses?
