Shaman Malos Always Resisted

Greetings.

My wife's character is a level 70 shaman with 750 AAs, and her best Malos is a level 66 spell (as far as I can tell looking at Webtools) by that name that lowers resists on fire, cold, magic, and poison by -70 for 14 minutes:

Its listed as unresistable, but she has been saying for several days now that its resisted every time by boss mobs.

Neither of us realized until I looked it up today that it's listed as unresistable, so I didn't think much about it until someone asked me about how her shaman spells today.

Is it truly unresistable, and thus broken, or is there something behind the scenes that makes it resistable and its working as intended.

I do not believe she had made any gear, buff, aura, etc. changes in the past few days that might have made a conflict, so I'm stumped on this one.

I only had a minute over my lunch break to check this out but I have no problem casting lvl 65 Shaman Malos on targets. Do you run a Mage as well? The Mage and Shaman malos lines do not stack and could be causing resist messages...

Follow up: level 63 Magician Malosinia will overwrite level 65 Shaman Malos, however, the Shaman will receive a "Your spell did not take hold." message rather than a resist. What boss is being troublesome? There are many that cannot be slowed - not due to actual resists but rather as a characteristic of the boss, and iirc those give the resist message. I'm reaching though because I've truly never scrutinized my slow success/failures.

Just ran a couple tests with my shaman - didn't notice any resists of Malos. What mob were you casting on that you got resist messages?

I just realized I started to talk about slows halfway through my last post... what's wrong with me? The rest applies, though, so I'm wondering if it isn't the "take hold" message rather than a resist?

We don't box, and neither of us is a magician, so mage malo keeping her spell from sticking is not the issue. Typically we duo, so its not another player on a mage either. She said it was not a "did not take hold" message, but a resist message.

I didn't get a chance to test this today, as my wife was busy and I'm not keen on boxing, so I'll have to report back when we try another boss mob.

Well, I got a chance to test this a bit, and now the Shaman spell Malos seems to be sticking. Why it was getting resisted the past weekend is beyond me, as my wife says she was up to date with the latest patch.

That being said, things are a bit glitchy for us sometimes, requiring a camp/relog. She did relog several times the couple of days this was happening, though.

It was definitely resisted 2 different days last weekend, but now seems fine. I'm clueless as to why that might be... as usual lol.
