Personally it has always driven me crazy that lifetaps emoted, "beams a smile at %t." Since we can do customization, what does anyone else think? Should the emote be removed and replaced with a regular spell response?

I voted no, because you can always use your chat filters to turn that kind of thing off. I don't see the need to make extra work for the devs if it isn't necessary.

You can't without disabling all emotes, I've tried and thus the poll. Thanks for the input, but if you've found a way, please by all means, tell me how.

I voted yes, I would much rather have it as a spell effect (which it is) and can be handled by my spell filter.

I would rather not turn off all emotes or toss emotes into my combat/spell window where I will never see them.

If Striat points me into the right direction, i can fix it, np.

The reason I polled it instead of a direct post was in case it would hinder something with necros or shadow knights. I would caution changing this unless we hear something from Sarc, just in case.

It's just that on our server, everyone has a lifetap aug since they come from multiple zones. In raids, I have to move emotes into my spam window so I can keep an eye on chat channels.

I voted to change it. I can't see a benefit to having it, and it can fill a window quickly with unnecessary spam. If it's effortless to change, I say change it.

Except that everyone else has lifetap augs too! If all of us have lifetap augs, does that mean none of us exist?!
