Ok dinged 29 on my SK and went to teh scriber and got dark siphon I-VII..I'm sure this was a glich, also a melee with a 6 second life tap cast time are you mad?

It was explained to me when I asked that you get every single spell in the database, including those meant only for NPC's. The ones I specifically asked about I wasn't even able to use, but even if you could, as you mentioned, why would you. Please remember that I was told this by another player, not a dev, so I can not vouch for accuracy.

Just ignoring them is the easiest solution since you'll quickly outlevel them anyways. If I'm not mistaken this only happens around the 30 mark.

Yea, problem is that the spellscriber just checks for class and level and if you match both, the scriber scribes it. There is no check if that spell is for NPCs only i guess. Best guess is to just ignore them.
