The Hidden Forest

Logged into my low level ranger this morning and she has a completely empty spellbook, all was ok yesterday afternoon. Spoke to Organ to scribe them again, but he thinks I already have them all scribed..

Checked casters across 3 accounts all the same, no spells.

Patcher says I'm up to date.

Suggestions please

Well, a little later.. zoned to Bazaar, spellbook full again and everything seems ok.

Zoned back to Shadowed Grove, no spells..

Thanks, this is a recurring problem in this zone and this is an opportunity for me to investigate it a bit. There seems to be an issue with Shadowed Grove where it's suddenly unable to load the spell file. This means that as soon as someone either uses and aa, spawns a bot or uses Sune the zone crashes because none of the spells are available to the zone.

Strange that it only happens with the forest, every other zone is fine... Will see if there's a way to fix the zone without rebooting the server.

[edit] - Actually it's not only that zone, it's any zone that has to boot up fresh...

It happened in VT this morning. I camped the raid and logged back in and the spells were back.

Yeah it's to do with port numbers, Vexthul has now booted up with a port number it likes, when you last logged in it used a different port number. I've changed the server config to not those port numbers which hopefully helps. We'll have to restart server to effect those changes though.

All seems to be working again now.. thanks Peterigz, whatever you did fixed it
