My mage is getting Gelid Strike Feedback from casting this spell. If this is a feature and not a bug can we get punishment for all classes the same across the board, as in every dps class taking damage from using their attacks like wizards do?

Hope so. I don't want to shelve any more donor characters due to complete changes in the way they function.

What is the name of your mage? I'm having trouble recreating this, I cast Thunder of Ice about 100 times and the only thing triggering is Gift of Mana AA which is correct.

Can you confirm it is definitely the negative recourse effect from Gelid Strike that is triggering?

Turns out to be something wonky with certain buff/debuff timers in the guild hall. The cold feedback counts down but reapplies itself some time after it expires. The effect was coming from the whip dropped by Zethurim. I had no idea I could run a spell set, get the feedback effect, have it count down and appear to poof, put the clickies in the bank and run another parse only to find the feedback blinking again after only casting one spell(Thunder of Ice) in a loop.

Gladiator and Prism of Melody are counting down and expiring in the guild hall. There are more buffs that act like this but I didn't make a list.

Buff/debuffs shouldn't count down in the hall at all, it probably visually counts down, then when resyncs with server pops back up.

Buffs like gladiator aren't doing anything like resyncing, they are giving messages that your spell has worn off, in the guild hall. I can see what you say concerning the gelid feedback but why would the fire feedback act differently and not even attempt to count down? Rhetorical question but just a heads up that a slew of things are broken and not really concerned with acting as they should or shouldn't or caring at all about what was intended.

I got as far as seeing that Gladiator has a different setting for it's suspend status in the database but changing it didn't make a difference so will have to investigate a bit further. Ideally I'd like for buffs to stay, and debuffs to timeout in the forest, I think that makes the most sense.

This should be sorted in the next update. All Beneficial spells will be suspended in the hub zones/guildhall, all detrimental spells will wear off.
