So I got a Mask of Power randomly the other day while knocking out some achievements and it has the spell Avatar. The clone claims it adds atk, but for me it does nothing so I am wondering if there is some issue with the spell? Champion works like it is supposed to and this should just be a lesser version as far as I can tell?

Max ATK cap?

Nope.

I had champ on at about 2200, took it off to go to 1900, cast Avatar, and it never moved.

Ok, tried something. We reload soonish as tons of spell/item changes went in.

No change, still no atk added.

There are two avatar spells in the clone - this (on the mask) and this (shaman spell).

Attack is now added in game.

Check with #mystats

Strange ... guess Champion has something to lift the atk cap then? Not sure what the UI number changes for Champ, but not for Avatar.

Before (buffless)

Total ATK: 2051 Worn/Spell ATK (Cap 250): 560 Server Used ATK: 1858

After (w/ Avatar only)

Total ATK: 2051 Worn/Spell ATK (Cap 250): 660 Server Used ATK: 2058

Avatar is obviously there because the Worn/Spell goes up by 100, but then the in game UI never adjusts along with the Total ATK, but then the Server Used ATK goes up by 200? Confusing to say the least.

To clarify then ... is it beneficial to keep casting Avatar on myself when there is no Shaman present?

At level 70 Champion > all the others.

So for DPS purposes if you don't have a shaman, its easier to just have someone in the group summon a shaman bot with a duration item every 12 min for champion.

Rerfu is sitting at 2650 Attack Raid buffed with Howl of Chaos, 20 attack self buff and Champion. I'm not sure why yours is on the low end must be missing a buff.

Because I wasn't trying to max atk then, just testing the buff so I didn't care about anything except the base atk and the atk with avatar. I've upgraded anyways ... Ancient: Feral Avatar now displays with the UI so who knows why it wasn't working visually.

As long as it was working, that is all that matters
