The Hidden Forest

Hi I am rather new to this server so dont fully understand everything but I download the spell files daily and out of my 5 boxes 3 of them have 4-6 unknown spells in my book.

Currently its only happening to my Wizard, Druid, and Shaman right now, I have spoken to Lillu and was told to post here about it.

Tell us about your installation ... are you running all the clients from the same directory or different?

Also, do you mean that ALL or SOME of your spells are called "Unknown spell"? Is that the exact name?

You don't have the spellfile in the correct folder. Download it again, put it in your Everquest folder. If you don't get prompted to overwrite existing file, you are doing something wrong.

I am running all clients from same directory havnt had this problem in the past with any other server after I have downloaded the spellfile and its only 4-6 "Unknown Spell" in the players book.

ALso I have downloaded the spell file into the correct directory and over written it each time.

Could they possibley be old spell files from one of these other servers? If you didn't do a clean install before switching over to this server it might not be a bad idea.
