It may be intended but...

... this is what happens when you target yourself and hit 'Flurry', i don't remember how live servers were on that point but i was amazed of being able to pierce/slash/crush myself at will

(If not intended : all offensive discs that do physical damage seem to work the same way)

I never understood why flurry is not a passive ability as on live in the first place.

The warrior skill "Flurry" is not a EQLive feature. It was added as a potential ability when SOE was toying with the idea of adding a plethora of melee abilities to allow melees to have additional utility. They were supposed to coincide with NPC's showing an "opening" and you'd have a limited time to fire off the ability. This was also designed to give melee's more of an attended use, instead of just sticking auto attack on and leaving them. On EQEmu, however, they are just plain available as a normal skill, and were never actually released by EQLive since they scrapped the idea. The "flurry" chance for melees to have 4 attacks in one swing is different and functions (semi) normally.

In other words, we should get rid of them, yes?

Yea i know - most lazy Server ops just leave the Standard Spell file and also leave lots of other random junk in them ;)

You know, I have been wondering why you guys left out the lvl 1 Ranger spell "Iaewedar's Awesome L337ness" from the database. Seriously, you guys need to get on the ball!

Seriously though, thanks for all you guys do. It's really amazing to see the interaction and effort you guys put in with the players. I am very glad to have found THF.
