I was wondering if your all could look st this spells drop rate. Im not asking in any way to be givin something. This spell currently is on a 10% chance of dropping, and there is 14 spells on the list. I have been in fire for over a month, and never seen this spell drop. I have took out ever named that drops it more times than I can remember. I have only seen it drop once, and that was on a fenin run. Just a thought.

10% chance of dropping off a mini, the raid named drop a spell every time, so you've got a better chance of getting it if you can take a raid in to fire and kill the named. Honestly, if you can't raid that tier, then I think it should be rare and hard to get. I'm not saying the drop rate couldn't be upped to something like 25%, but they need to remain rare off the trash that most t1 people can solo/duo.

The way i have gotten every espell ive needed from fire is from the FR event. Ton of spells drop, and really if your looking to get spells thats the best way to do it. I do agree with harney tho, these spells shouldnt be available to EVERYOEN who can just solo through there.

FR event is the place to be for spells.
Outside of that I only saw the good stuff drop once.
I swear to god every time I kill something that can drop a spell it drops a Shadowknight spell and it really pisses me off.
The boss events however love me. Need that spell everyone claims is rare for your new caster alt? Have two of them!

Basically get some people and go attempt/beat FR and Xeg events

Well heres the problem with that.

1 he is farmed to death. I have only seen his trigger up 1 in 2 months.
2 When I saw no one would help, and i cant solo him +( I can box 5 but still that wont help.

Just like the tear dragon in ww a guild has it locked down so no one has a chance to get it.

Thats a load of hogwash.
If posts for guild forums dont get auto deleted when you lose membership I should still have a post in there about how I'll go kill in Fire with people because its fun zone.
Also I see the FR trigger up almost every day and choose not to kill it as I am busy tryin to max tradeskills before I move.
Thanks to tinkering being a pita it wont happen but im trying.

Now I bet you live in a timezone that just precludes you from seeing the trigger up as its often killed on another time.
Also its pofire easiest zone in the whole of EQ to bug out. I remember a period where I was finding FR trigger up 2 or 3 times a day.
Out side of doing that maybe just make a hotkey for /who all zonename, and check whos in fire.
Suddenly notice 12 <annoying guild name> zone into fire then ask them if they are doing FR and if you can help because you really want to get this one spell from the event.

I personally would say yes. Lots of others I know would say yes. Of course some people are so self centered they just have no clue but you know it never hurts to ask.

Honestly bro, I think it's just bad luck.

I've had those two spells for my cleric and shaman for quite some time now. I've also seen that spell rot more than once while hitting minis. There are just certain things that have terrible drop rates when you actually want it! I've killed Xegony many times, to only see the plate BP drop once. I've given up on it, I'll wait until VP.

LoL I feel ya there, all the times we've killed Xeg and she finally drops chain bp ... no mains were on that needed it ... it went to an alt.

RNG has been and always will be, the devil.

Yeah, I swear the RNG adds in a formula to calculate your level of "want" for the item by reading your brain waves and will result in a roll not in your favor.
