The Hidden Forest

Hi, I am a new player to the server. While in Crushbone yesterday, I got a drop that looks like a lightstone and said Familiar Orb: Coyote Pub. I cast it and got a cute little coyote pet to follow me around in Crushbone. However, when I zoned back to the Hidden Forest, I got a spell put on me called Tail Lash that lasts for 6 hours--I lose consciousness every 5 seconds or so and am unable to do anything. When I right clicked on the icon to look at the spell info it says: Familiar Orb: Coyote Pup across the title bar, but then the rest of it says:

I do have all the server specific files loaded. Is there anyway to get this spell off of me?

Well this sounds like you don't have the up to date sever specific files. Eqemu launcher is not supported. Download manually the files from our forum. To fix this issue, you'll need our spell file.

remember having the same issue when i first started playing here along time ago - updated spell files, and bam, no more tail lash 8).

I reinstalled all 4 server specific files and it did fix it.
