I just completed the Raid Aura and decided to pick Aura of the Bloodmage as it was seemingly a direct upgrade from Aura of the Warlock. I've been researching them over the past week, and the auras are exactly identical except the fact that Bloodmage has higher stats obviously. One of the things that really shined for me was the the proc from Warlock strike procced on weapon procs and DD spells. Now, being a mage, this increased my pets DPS considerably. My main source of DPS is my pet. After toying around with Aura of the Bloodmage, i've noticed he doesn't seem to proc the Bloodmage Strike on weapon procs. Why not? Being that the Auras are almost the same.

Edit: Also noticed that the HP regen is not working on Bloodmage.

Neither warlock or bloodmage should be casting the DD on procs. I will look into why warlock is casting for procs.

This aura is meant for casters, similar to a mana flare type spell but stronger.

they both arent supposed to proc off weapons. It used to and was making melee dps a lil op. Vaion fixed the raid one to only proc off spells that cost mana.

A little op? Pretty sure ur Pally was posting like 60k dps with it lol
