Euphoric Bliss Rk 1 and Mind Meld Rk 1 cannot scribe

Hello there,

I am having trouble scribing my 2 spells Euphoric Bliss Rk 1 and Mind Meld Rk 1.
It says my race and class can never use this spell. Under spell description it says ENC 255.

I know that I have all the spell files up to date and I dont know what else to do about that, any help would be greatly appreciated on this, I would really like to use those 2 =)

This is 110% the case of the wrong spell file (or other server related custom files). I know that's not what you wanted to read, but it's the truth

ok, so how do i go about fixing this problem? =) i just DL everything from the THF site....maybe im putting it in the wrong area? nothing else is wrong with me, spell wise.

I've checked and both spells are lvl 70 enchanter usable so the spell file should be ok.

You copy the custom spell file to your EQ root directory (and it's the proper client version), right?

I have downloaded everything straight from this site. And the custom spell file says its compatible with all clients, so i shouldnt have a problem there. I am running the Secrets of Faydewer client and Im not sure if that has anything to do with it. But I just DL it right into my Everquest directory. I have had no problems with spells up to this point.

You unzip the spell file to your Everquest directory, right? You should get a confirmation message if you would like to overwrite the previous spell file. You get that? Also, make sure to completely restart EQ.

yes i get all of that. and yes i do restart after every single download....im sorry to both u guys with this but im just trying to make sure that this works and that i dont have the same problem in the future with other spells.

That is the classic symptom for when your spell file is out of date :/
