Can only test rank 1 and 2, don't have 3 and 4 (if someone could test those pls)

This spell data says this spell adds proc Kiss of Life. After doing some testing(noob vendor weapon & no buffs), when the buff is applied, you get the message "You feel flush with stolen life." and can see it healing me via the heal crits, however it is not doing any dmg to the target.

Looks good in the Spell file.

Technically it does the following -

Add a proc (KoL) which does -350 DD@-200 resist and procs Life Heal afterwards for 250hp.

The dmg portion is not working. Here is some more data to back that up.


again, no buff (other than Death March) and using a noob vendor weapon with no weapon procs.

1) the is no message in the dmg log showing the mob taking dmg from the KoL proc.
2) the focus item i have with Thunder focus does not "glow" when this procs, however the health focus item does glow.
3) ran a parse using GamParse, looking under the tab Player DPS where it breaks down all sources of dmg. The only source of dmg is from white dmg sword swings ("slash"). there is no dmg at all done from procs which would fall under a category called "hit"

This seems to be pretty good proof that the dmg portion of the KoL buff from death march is not working. The heal portion is working though.

Are you using additional weapon/spell procs ?

The added proc is this. And its the same for all ranks - only difference is the frequency of the proc.

all other forms of KoL are working for me. for example pointed blade aug. I can see the dmg and heal portion in game and in parse. Just not the one granted by death march. Granted it is the same KoL, something just doesn't seem right.

Here is another bit of info to go along with the previous 3. When i get other forms of KoL procs, i see the msg "X's life is leeched away" and of course the heal portion "You feel flush with life"

When testing death march, i only get the heal portion of the msg , "You feel flush with life" there is no dmg msg "X's life is leeched away"


Can some other SKs please test this as well? only takes a few mins to check.

Using a completely unbuffed SK with my normal sword that has a Pointed Blade aug:

[Mon Jul 16 13:31:47 2012] You slash Vlad for 1853 points of damage.

Using the same SK, but with a Standard Issue Short Sword from the vendor AND Death March IV cast:

[Mon Jul 16 13:32:06 2012] Your Dark Overtone Earstone begins to glow.
[Mon Jul 16 13:32:06 2012] Your Jewel of Drizku begins to glow.
[Mon Jul 16 13:32:06 2012] You feel flush with stolen life.
[Mon Jul 16 13:32:06 2012] You slash Vlad for 69 points of damage.

It does not give me a damage line, nor does it show my Dark Thunder focus activating.

Yeah, just duplicated it with Death March 1, no damage message, no heal message on dm procs, no buffs on except that, and broadsword of the undecided crushbone sword.

Someone that main an SK and/or has been playing one longer than I would have to chime in on that, i only just recently noticed when i was doing some testing with buff proc slots.

are there any similar buffs we can check to see if they do the same? I think my druid's animal attunement buff adds KoL procs. I'll check it later.
