Here is this morning, I replaced Spell_us.Txt by the version of the server. Only here is I cannot launch any more a single spell. The error message is " you can not cast this spell while out of fight ", I play two Drakkin (bard and cleric) and the song work only if I launch with #melody but not individually, and with my cleric no spell works. The Spells do not seem to work either with the other races. them the problem seems to come from the version of the game ( SOF).

It is not really a problem I go re to install again EQ to get back the ancient file, but I just want to indicate it.

As a side note to this topic, it is usually wise to change your old spells_us.txt to a new name like "spells_us_OLD.txt before installing the new file, in case the new one is corrupted and/or doesn't work properly. That way, you can always delete it, and change the old one back to the original name.

yeah, I need to find a SoF spell file. I think there is one in an editor. Basically, we may need 2 custom spell files as I'm not sure how titanium will interpret the larger race #. It shouldn't be an issue that I'm aware of (unless byte is > defined int), but I don't know at the moment.

This may have zero correlation to this, but since I saw it recently I figured I'd direct striat to it if it is helpful.

Storm Haven is another custom server that utilizes level 75 on EQEMU and has a custom spell file, along with a patch for zones that SoF has issues with.

But strangely, they only utilize one spell file. Perhaps the race list can contain the drakkin index and titanium will still support it? Just wanted to pass that spell file by you striat for example sake potentially.
