Possible aura stacking issue

My rogue, Giovanni, has the Mighty raid aura. I tend group him with my warrior, monk, nec, enc and druid. The warrior has solo tanking aura and the monk has the solo aura of the Frenzy. Only my rogue will get the Mighty aura, the rest of the group it won't stick to. The rest of my group gets frenzy aura. When I #auracast on the monk, it will overwrite the Mighty and everyone gets Frenzy aura. When I #auracast on the rogue, only the rogue aura refreshes and "Spell did not take hold" message for the rest of the group.

Thoughts?

So what you are saying is raid Aura Mighty won't stack with Solo Aura Frenzy? If so that would be correct as far as I know. Raid auras are an upgrade to the solo aura so the corresponding ones are not meant to stack ie: Mighty will not stack with Frenzy and so on.

Precisely, they are both the lifetap auras, but the solo version is overwriting the raid version, which isn't superior. The Mighty raid aura should always overwrite the Frenzy solo aura.

Until it gets fixed (assuming you haven't done this already and also that you run the same group of characters the majority of the time) you can right click the solo aura buff and block it so that the raid aura never gets blocked.

It's a work-around, but it could keep you sane for the time being.

I tried grouping my warrior with tank solo aura with my SK with tank raid aura and they have the same issue. Neither will overwrite the other, whichever one they get first is considered the superior buff.
