
New Aggro Limit: Round 2, in the first attempt to control mass pulling we had many issues which resorted to pulling the idea. Now with combined efforts a new feature will be implemented currently in Fungus Grove and Plane of Storms and if all goes well serverwide.
This is not an attempt to punish players for for mass pulling its simply a means to maintain stability from zone crashes and offer a little respect to other players that may also be camping parts of the zone.
The fundamentals of mass pulling has always been around and we do not want to restrict that completely. So in our attempt to moderate this we will be setting this to a limit of less than 25 per pull at any given time.
Details:
o Aggro limit of less than 25 at any given time.
o Exceeding the limit will banish you back to the hidden forest.
o Counter increases and decreases as normal aggro rules apply. (get aggro it goes up, death to npc, fd, or fade decreases the count).
o You do not effect other players in the zone you will have your own uniquie counter. However aggro rules apply.
Examples:
-Player A and Player B cannot fight a combined amount over 25 standing side by side.
-Player A and Player B can have up to 25 each as long as they are not within aggro range of each other.
You say, 'Why not 35, 50 or 100 why not just not have it no one ever comes to this zone and i dont bother anyone anyway i respect them if they come in and i stop mass pulling.
To sum it all up 25 is the limit and standing firm no opinions as to why it should be 30, 50 or 100 will not be considered at this time that would be counter productive.
You say, 'I always accidently pull over 25 that pisses me off.
This may take some time getting use to, it may be annoying, like mentioned above it is not a punishment, it is not targeted towards specific players. This has been an idea that we have been wanting to implement and hopefully error free for along time now to improve stability and zone crashes.
