The time is quickly approaching for the new code to go live! While there are still some bugs that have been reported to resolve, we feel that at this point the code needs to get pushed live and fully implemented.
What this means to our community:
- Extended downtime next Tuesday AND Wednesday. We plan to begin the migration on Tuesday and have the server back up but there are a lot of working parts to the changes that may take us into the next day to get everything implemented.
- Bugs. As stated, we still have a handful of bugs to fix from the Test Server and fully expect to have more be reported once the code goes live. PLEASE be patient as we resolve things. We will address the most severe bugs (crashes/detriments to total gameplay) first and then smaller isolated bugs (focus effects/item issues) once those are fixed.
- On Tuesday, the beta code forums will become locked. At this point we will tally up and get the information collected for rewards to those who tested and reported issues. We plan to have beta code rewards given out no later than the 12th of July (again pending code issues that we have to address).
Some of you may also be curious of our plans for the upcoming Holiday weekend. As always, the hamburgerz and frank'n'beans event will be live starting on the 3rd of July. Due to the timing of the new code going live, we will leave the 4th of July events active until, at a minimum 10 July. This should help compensate for any downtime/issues that we may come across.
As always, all we ask from the community is patience and understanding. Our hope is that the new code moves to live server with minimal hiccups and we can quickly address the few remaining issues that we have.
