The warm breeze of summer fades away... replaced with the eerie chill that frosts the morning dew through the grasslands of Karana. The farmers and guardsmen who toil their days away in the vast open plains begin to close their shutters as the sun falls, lock their doors with latches and bolts, and sit awake throughout the long tedious nights as they hear the distant howls and screams begin to permeate through their once blessed lands...
This year though, something new has started to happen that has the Guardians of the Forest concerned. Beyond the normal infection and plague that withers the lands of Karana, the sacred trees of The Forest have begun to wilt as their leaves fall to the ground. Queen Adrianne grows fearsome that a new darkness has awoken, one more terrible and fearsome than any seen before in the lands of Norrath...
