Rogue Updates
Backstab changes: All weapons and augs in the game now have a lot more backstab damage on them with the general rule of thumb: weapons get ~10 backstab per tier, augs get ~5 per tier. So a tier 9 weapon would have around 90 backstab, and a tier 9 aug about 45. BUT - there are now diminishing returns on the amount of backstab damage you do based on the amount of backstab on the weapon. The max amout of backstab before these changes was about 332 (with donors), now it's about 450ish, but because of the diminishing returns, 450 does about the same as 332 did. This means that the non donor rogue can catch up a little bit with backstab damage being more readily available.
New Rogue AAs:
Perfected Sneak
Years of stealthy manoeuvers and hiding in the shadows allows you to never fail your sneak skill. Requires tier 3.
Relentless Stabbing
Each rank in this ability increases the duration of your Frenzied Stabbing line of disciplines by 1 tick per rank (1 tick = 6 seconds). You can train 1 rank per tier.
Savage Strikes
Each rank in this ability increases your chance to land an additional backstab by 4% per rank. You can train 1 rank per tier.
Quick word on Savage Strikes, this is basically quad backstab damage % chance but since looking at the code I realised that quad backstab isn't quite quad backstab... Basically you have a chance to double backstab (guaranteed if your triple+quad chance is greater then 20), then if that succeeds you have a chance to triple backstab (via the AA and some worn2), then you have a chance to get the forth backstab. But triple and quad are separate rolls, so you may succeed the quad roll but fail the triple meaning you essentially get a triple backstab. So quad hits only happen if both triple and quad rolls succeed. Just thought that was worth clarifying.
Rogue assinate proc: The 32k proc that fires sometimes now scales with the tier of the character, maxing out at tier 8.
Invisible Man line of discs: This discipline has been replaced with a new short duration buff: Speed of the Wraith. This is a movment speed buff the rogue can use to rapidly sneak into the depths of zones.
Other Fixes
o Poisons will actually stay applied now. They were currently set to one shot only. We will look to add more poisons for rogues in the future with various effects.
o Word of Salvation will now work when the cleric has themselves targetted
o Shield of Solteris damage will now work regardless of actually having another spell damage shield.
o Staff of the Earthcaller now has a separate timer to Fiery Slippers of Harmony.
o Manaburn line of AAs should correctly cast manaburn again.
o Band of the Pheonix got some heroic stats.
o Some other internal code changes for upcoming updates.
