Have you tried not using isboxer when loading your characters? Maybe there is a setting that you have turned on that is affecting your performance.

Isboxer only as far as i know as setting wise that you can change for performance is the CPU Wizard which lets you assign cores to clients.

But seems more like a client setting maybe hardware issue without more info, spec wise i would say his comp should handle 12+ boxes easy.

Is it only happening in one zone or in different zones ?
Is it happening when a specific event by mobs or the tank is doing it ?
What client do you use ?

If the disconnect to character select is instantaneous then it's MQ2 related. If it is a slow process then you are experiencing high latency between you and the server (connection timeout).

Once we know the type of disconnect we can significantly narrow down the possible problems.

Just one thing that i noticed while i am in process to tweak which might be related to your problem or maybe not.

Do you happen to have a Asus mobo ?
If yes do you have AI Suite II installed or something similar ?

Do you happen to have Zone Alarm installed or any other Firewall/AntiVirus programs ?

If yes try to disable em temporary and see if it would fix your problem ?

Also in general depending if its a computer you bought preinstalled you might have tons of programs running in the background you don't need.

I have all sounds disabled and nosoud.txt going aswell as all filters set to hide, i went through the guide and have turned everything possible off im using stickfigures. i have tried isboxer, wineq, and the regular client all with the same result. it is always a instant disconnect on the active screen. i have a new video card coming i am hopeing this solves my problems i could get bye without mq2 i really only need my eqbc server i use mostly hotkey commands from my tank. i will try not running mq2 tommorow and see what happens.

99% sure that's an MQ2-related problem, right there. If you type "/plugin list" would you please share what plugins you're using? One of them is the suspected culprit.

yes its a asus mobo no ai suite, no firewall or antivirus, i do have avg but i leave it disabled and do scans from time to time then disable again. no preloaded crap i built the computer and used a oem win 7 pro disc i also through sys config have every service not critical to running windows shutdown. i have also tried messing with all eq windows affinity and priority running realtime and normal no change. i am runnning a test right now with no mq2.
