MQ loads then freezes an crashs

Did you play or download any other server files before downloading thfs?

there is no uierrors.txt? what about a dbg.txt in the logs folder?

make sure your everquest folder is not inside of c:\program files or c:\program files (x86)
put it in c:\everquest or something like that

EZ server/p99/grand creation thats it an nothing pops up in my uierrors.txt

Can't say I've heard of that issue coming from having played on another emu, but you're going to want a complete clean install (never touched another emu) then run thf patcher. close the patcher.
open eqbcserver, open mq2, then open eq without running the thf patcher.

guess ill give it a shot iv tryed everything lol i also have the MQ auto updater from redguides but guess it doesnt work with emu's

nope didnt work *sign* idk i dont remember MQ being this much of a PITA lol does it have to be in my EQ folder or something or is the a file that needs to be ? i have it extracted into a folder on my desktop, starting EQDSC or whatever it is then MQ then EQ gets to char screen MQ box loads then boom locks up an crashs could my IP have anything to do with it ? when it says connection to port 2112 nothing happens

I agree with Nilbus's recommendations. Here is what I have done successfully since I first started using MQ2:

[1] Keep EQ in a directory outside of Program Files. I use C:\everquest\
[2] Keep MQ2 in a directory within the EQ directory. C:\everquest\MQ2_emu\
[3] Run EQBCServer.exe
[4] Run MacroQuest2.exe
[5] Start eqgame.exe

Works every time. The first time logging in with this setup, you'll need to type /bccmd connect, to connect the eq client to the EQBCServer. After doing this the first time, it will (should) then auto reconnect every time you log in.

Feel free to try that approach.

nope still does it lol i appreciate the help an everything guys. i really cant figure this out guess im not aloud to use MQ wonder if i compile it myself from the actual MQ site if that would but not sure how
