/stick issues

I'm constantly having problems with /stick when boxing. I'll have my boxed toons stick to my main and more often than not, I'll find one or two have either gotten stuck or are just turning around in circles after I run away a little... while the rest are just fine.

When I tab over to their windows, they will sometimes correct themselves like they can suddenly sense my main and start to follow him.

I'm running two folders for EQ: one with better graphics for my main window and another with stripped down graphics (I used the guide on these forums) for my boxed toons.

Is this a prevalent problem for everyone else or am I missing something?

Thanks for the help!

Are you running UF-client?

If so, try downloading this MQ2moveutils instead (have to register to get the files):

The files attached there are of a different compile than what is currently downloaded at mqemulator, but i was able to find another solution.

In the mq2moveutils.ini file, if you add WinEQ=on and TrueHeading=off, it seems to do the trick.

This problem only seems to affect setups using UF, WinEQ and Mq2MoveUtils

I personally use /stick loose uw rather than just plain /stick. The loose "more closely emulates the natural movements of a player" according to the logs, and the uw bit helps with underwater Y-axis movement. Neat to see there's an actual fix rather than workaround.

I thought that 'loose' was really for live...where you don't want folks to know you're boxing/running mq2. Is there any benefit to turning that switch on here?
