Can't connect anymore to the server with MQ2 classic build

Hi all,

I'm using UF Client with MQEmulator Classic Build on Win7 x64.

After having loaded EQBCServer and MQ2, I try to log on the server and after the character selection, my client is automatically closed without any warning or error, just that my client has left the server in the EQBCServer command window...

I try on multiple account, same thing.

I try with or without WinEQ2, same thing.

Then I try to log without anything MQ2 loaded and it works.

I never had any problem with MQ2 before and I'm getting this problem since the new reboot, anyone else has the same issue ?

Tried with a fresh new download build from MQEmulator, same problem.

I have also tried to connect to another server with this MQ2 version loaded, no problem !

That's really weird. Just to confirm we haven't done anything to 'disable' MQ2 usage and we couldn't even do that without patching the client.

I think I've found it !

For an unknown reason atm, this library : MQ2CastTimer.dll is killing my client when I load it in the MQEmulator classic build.

Is there any modifications done to the timers (spells or items) after this reboot ?

Nothing was changed server side. We run the same server code as before the reboot.

Cool, so it's a problem on my side, not on the server ;)

Well, I've disabled it and everything's fine :P
