Toon Names missing

Call me old fashioned but I would like to see my toons names.
I had an issue with MQ2 acting stupid, when I reloaded it, everything works as it should but my toons don't have their name anymore and neither do any other member of my raid.
So the question is... how to turn names back on?
Can it be done in game? If so how or is it a file I need to edit? If so what file is it?
