Magelo Update

I'm sure you've all noticed that the Magelo tool, as of late, has been slow or outright unresponsive. We've addressed the issue and have almost completely re-written the tool (see link below). It's faster, offers some new features, and looks different.

If you have a moment in your day, I ask that you try it out and see what you think of the new look. It's not finalized yet, but you'll notice that it doesn't resemble the in-game UI. We are curious if you, the community, prefer the in-game UI look.

Thanks!
P.S. it reflects live data, so feel free to use it as a temporary replacement until the tool is finalized.

I like all the details. One cosmetic suggestion, can the items clicked on left (stats, flags, etc) open something that is a mini scrollable frame/window instead of just one giant long list? It's most evident with the AA list, but wow that gets long.

It really looks great and I can't wait to have magelo running again hehe ;)

If I had to ask for something it would be :
1) Possible to have guild seperated in several pages rather than a long list ? Like it is now it's good, because you only have few of them on each pages. With that new magelo it can be much longer.
2) + 1 to what Nil says.

Besides, I like it and I congratulate you for having the haste working hehe. Also the fact that you have the augmented stats of an item already is nice.

BUT, (always a butt!), is that normal that ac isn't correct yet ? The overall one I mean.

I personally vote that I don't care. Just if you could have a look at 1,2 and ac :p

That's definitely possible. I didn't do it specifically to make it more mobile device friendly, but that begs an important question:

Does anyone actually use magelo on their mobile devices? Or should I just focus on the desktop experience? Personally, I use it on my mobile phone occasionally but not regularly.

3) AC calculation correct?

1) It's possible. I'm open to changes, of course, but I'll at least explain why I did it this way: Firstly, scrolling is super easy with a mouse, keyboard, and touch screen. Easier than clicking for me in every scenario. Secondly, I also frequently use ctrl+F to find what I want. Having it all on one page suits ctrl+F usage perfectly. Thirdly, pagination is typically done to lessen server load (return the first 25 instead of all 3 million google results); however, with the size of Emu server populations it's rare to get more than 200 results with any type of player search so pagination isn't so useful. I'm curious - how do you folks interact with these pages?

2) To echo my above statement: scrolling divs are pretty annoying in touch-screen environments, but if everyone here uses desktops most of the time then we can do scrolling divs, no prob.

3) I'll investigate the formulae again. They were updated to THF numbers, but I didn't confirm them with #mystats and no buffs in game yet.

I really like it. I do use magelo on a mobile device but rarely. I usually use a desktop and having everything on one page and being able to ctrl +f to find what I am looking for is useful.

I don't use too often magelo on phone. I did in the past, but got less time for it now hehe.

For scrolling, well, I have few toons of mine that are very close in alphabetic order, so I used to have guild's magelo link directly to the page where I have most of my toons, so it was easy to check them quickly that way. That's why I asked that question. It's probably not the case of everybody else of course.

As for ac, yeah, it looks more accurate than before, but still not close at all. Checked ingame but it looks like that magelo says ac 13271 hp 47955 ; while mystats says ac 15080 hp 58588  I really thank you because I know you spend a lot of time on it and it must be really not easy to code !

Love it. Fast, easy to use. Two thumbs up.

Maybe use the space a little better? Lists are long and could be condensed by decreasing the space between lines?
