The Hidden Forest

Let us know how do you like the new THF forum. This is also the thread to post suggestions how we could improve the forum.

Please note, the forum is not 100% functional as we'll keep fixing bugs and implementing new functionality based on your feedback.

1) I like things are being organized with the little icons

2) There is no news main page with things in big and that's something missing. I loved it, and it is something "catching" that shows how much work is done here so it's too bad that it's not there anymore.

3) Very nice pictures in background.

First thing that popped out: can we make the "unread thread" notification easier to see in some way? Not sure if it's the light blue, or the relatively smallish size.

There's are Quick links in the top header link box. It has links to Unread posts and New posts too.

And yeah, the light blue color shows if a topic is unread.

Personally, I always really liked the style of the previous forum. However, I think this new style and layout is equally great. My biggest issue thus far, though, has been the lack of Update News on the front page. I really liked that immediate update right on the front page, and like Sian mentioned, it was a great way to showcase some of the amazing work being done at a quick glance.

Honestly though, really neat setup and design. Would LOVE to see the rest of the tools (clone, magelo, etc) get updated to match this style for consistency's sake, but obviously not 100% necessary.

Yeah, the news updates on the main page is missing. It was a mod (outdated too) for the old forum software and it's completely incompatible with this version. I'm trying to find some similar mod but at the end we might have to create some custom php to enable it. We'll keep you guys updated.

News feed (and other functions) added to the main page now.

- possible to see older news, on the portal ?
- can you add on the forum a "mark forums read" please ? I have read them all but I still see 11 new posts and 6 unread posts and I can't put them to 0 so I guess it's either a bug or due to posts in petition forums.
