Open up all Tradeskills

Ok - several people asked to have ALL tradeskills available to ALL classes (Alchemy, Tinkering mainly).
It's technically possible, has an unfixable side effect though:
- Your class cannot do tradeskills in this container
This message is displayed everytime you do a combine. This is just a cosmetic annoyance really. But it's client side, nothing we can (seem) to fix on our end.
- Not able to train Points with your GM
What do you people think - put it in anyways and have the people who want it in live with these small obstacles?

I've been on a sever that has all trade skills added...but in order to do alchmey on classes that cant do it they added the recipes to brewing...but just an idea you can do that with several recipes if not all of them just combin them into Brewing and others that are already live...

I went with "all tradeskills". I never ever did tradeskills on Live. I tried to do blacksmithing there and it just wasn't pretty, not at all. However, I have been working on Cialla's Tailoring here, and so far, I like it a lot. Of course, I DO have the motivation of the Kael-type armor made from the Icewell Keep drops to keep me working at it....

That's a good idea Meno, I think it would take a fair amount of time on the dev's side to change all the recipies to have both however. If there was an easy way for them to do this I'm in full support of that idea. I also agree with Catthib in that I never did tradeskilling until this server because it was always so teadious and annoyingly expensive and time consuming to reach a respectable level. However on THF I've grown fond of the crafting experience. I'd also like to add (I'm sure it's the wrong area) that if you were to do something like this, perhaps a line of armor / augments etc... be something where a combination skill is required to craft. Ie. 200 Tailoring + 200 Alchemy in order to create said piece. I'm not sure if it's possible to do a double check, however you could make a no drop / trade item from one skill.. like tailoring.. and then make that useable in an alchemy combination and THEN make it trade'able. Just a thought for some of the higher people to have a little something extra to work on.

Empahtic "yes to all" even though I don't really have time anymore to do them. Maybe some day. The spam is fine, and no one even really pays attention to that spam anyways (I think, at least I don't).

Actually I should have chosen option 3 ... I have max DKP ... can I trade it in for a #setskill 60 300? Woohoo! FYI 60 is alchemy >:)

I voted for all. It sucks to have to create a specific race/class just to do tradeskills. What's the point in wasting a slot for a character you'll probably never play just to be able to do a needed tradeskill?
