Today we want to ask you what class you prefer and why

My first choice is always Magician.

Main reason? I do NOT like getting hit. It messes up my hair and messes up my clothes and sometimes makes me spill my coffee.

I know you didnt ask, but my second and third and fourth classes, in this order, are:

2.Cleric yeah, yeah...I know. Clerics get hit. But I like the perverse freedom I have from knowing that if some other player has ticked me off badly enough, I don't -have- to heal them...after all, sometimes it IS more mana-efficient to rez someone than heal them.

3. Wizard. All that incredible nuking power coupled with the AC of wet toilet paper. What more could you ask for to make game-life more exciting??

4. Druid. I have played a Druid since my very first day in EQLive and I love them, unconditionally. Other players may mock them, but I just laugh hysterically at those nay-sayers when I can port myself out of any dangerous situation and leave them behind...

I like getting hit, and more importantly, hitting back. So my favorite is Warrior, followed closely by the SK. Ranger is my 3rd favorite, nothing beats 'weaponshield' to ruin a mob's day...

Bone Head

I like flashy numbers so DPS is my main preference. I also don't like being super squishy and dying in less than the time it takes me to realize I'm getting hit so casters are usually out - though I have played a mage and enjoyed it.

I left EQ before zerkers were around, but played a Rogue on live which is where I prefer to be. Seeing those large crit backstabs is always so fun

However, I seriously have played every single class (except zerkers) to at least level 20 on live before settling down on the Rogue.

Ranger or Bard because they're both extremely versatile.

Bards can do just about anything if they're played right, and I played one on live for about 5 years. The only problem is that they're not as good on emu because of how mobs get bugged if they get mezzed while running. Bard is the only class that keeps me busy single boxing, otherwise im forced to 6 box

Rangers are also great because they can cc, they can help heal, and push out some mean DPS.

Why do I play a warrior? Well because they're required to actually get anything done in this game unfortunately. Also, I don't like having to bug tanks to do things that they've prob already done a million times with other people who are tankless.

I like the Warrior
-Valuable asset to the grouping/raiding community
-Endgame = Badass!
Keep a good attitude with minimal loot whoring and the lack of independence pays off..

Played both warrior and wizard live and enjoyed them both

Mine is Cleric...

I'm a motor mouth, i like to talk, and the cleric is the perfect class for that. All i do is: watch the heath bars, cast, sit... rinse repeat. And besides being the backbone of EQ(you cant do shit without healing). I just love the class.

With current changes.. against undead i am a GOD! muahahahhaha

I picked rogue, but I have fun playing so many different classes. Rogue, cleric, bard, warrior, monk, and ranger are probably my favorites. (I really narrowed it down, huh?)
