Please tell us what do you think about the new portal?

I came to the main page and my first was "damn this looks just as good as the real EQ website". Great work on it! I think it's great.

I also love how the new alla clone won't be capable of giving away strats for encounters (doesnt show ramp, flurry, hps, spells, etc). That will definitely make every future encounter more challenging.

I like the Portal Page, the one with the big picture as your site map and all that. I do not like the massive icons next to the Threads in the Forums section. I do not like how there isn't a link to the clone when you click portal from the forums, you have to navigate all the way to the main page for that. I hate how the Clone doesn't even show spawn times/locs (spoiled me on the first clone i guess, that thing was amazing) or even lets me do zone searches.

Though I agree with Jeido, i like how people won't be able to Clone a boss and trivialize the encounter by seeing what all specials he does. That's awesome change for sure.

zone search on clone would be awesome. Like you click the zone name and get a list of NPCs in that zone.

Looks Great, Good Job

Beyond the main portal page, I like most of the changes. My only issue with the main portal page is that it has a very scattered navigation. That makes it a very unique form of navigation in respect to most other pages out on the net and we'll see how it works over time .

Looks great, but images are poorly optimized thus very big in file size.

You bring up a good point, i see about 24 actually images there at each of them ranging from 17kb (smallest) to 378kb (largest) thats quite a bunch of stuff to be loaded.

TBH, the portal being so well organized and polished played a huge factor in my "first impressions" of the server and lead me and my family to start playing on it.

Never hurts to spend some time on curb appeal!
