Necro Bot

I tried summoning 2 corpses at Naggy's Lair with 2 different necro bots on 2 different toons. No dice.

The bot would cast a spell, I would get a "say" message saying something like "BotName trying to summon ToonCorpse", but corpses never showed up.

my understanding is that bot corpse summoning is disabled due to some previous exploits involving it.

Yep, thats correct. On THF you don't really need corpse summoning only to exploit.

Well even if necro bot could corpse summon it would work due its disabled in VP.

And to be honest why would you need to do that in VP anyway ?

I was not trying to exploit anything ... i died several times and I wanted to summon the corpses to get them rezed by the cleric in the group. Simple as that, the only way I can see to use corpse summoning.

while your intent is 100% legit, there is/was alot of people who would look to abuse it if given the opportunity, hell even i was thinking of ways to avoid trash in VP with it and im a pretty legit player! Unfortunately when a exploit is found, it kind of ruins things for the rest of us. 8\

One time I did want to use it in VP and it was because we had cleared tho a decent way and had a time crunch to kill before I had to leave for the night. Died with corpses in the wall and no way to get them out to rez because of how far in they were.

This isnt the bash on VP thread or I would continue.
