Almost anything is possible - the question is, if it is wanted in general. Adding a new command to toggle this feature would be the best but most time consuming option.

BoT AI will change and hopfully improve a lot once we update to the newest revision. The update is on hold atm till Striat is back in action and till we are done with full content review.

Well from what ive noticed so far in my short stint, anything but the paladin is utterly useless to me, cleric just hots which doesnt help at all, druids do nothing but nuke, shamans just debuff/nuke and never heal either, i just think its funny how alot of the population uses Paladin bots if they dont 2 box or something.

I like the idea.

#bot HealOnly on|off - forces the bot to use only direct heals (not HoT's - they do that normally)

Hopefully though, like Lillu said, the AI will be VERY improved

With ranger, shaman, druid you can click off the regen as a temporary measure - in a fight they will opt to direct heal you until high enough health.

This is a temporary work around.

What about giving to shamans/druid that allow them ONLY to heal and another just to Slow/Debuff/Nuke

yeah healer bots are very stupid =)

would be nice to give them specific commands, or rather set them into specific modes , like direct healing mode now!, dps mode! etc

why not.....bot stances.

for example. shammy has 3 stances....healing.....debuff/dps buff

war dps/tank
pal tank/heal/dps

cleric heal/dps?/buff

this would most likely be a major redo for congdar to work on but ive seen stuff like this for players on sod several years ago so its not outside of reason that something like that could be applied to bots.

if i had a single choice though id say either just temporarily disable the hot's till ai rev comes through or a single cmd that applies to any kind of class that can heal to disable hot healing. ok shutting up now :")

ok not shutting up.....i had thought about this the other day but....if my memory servers the bots use a special spell list that refers to a certain non player set of spells in the spells file. if thats the case you could as a temp fix make hots heal more dmg per tick to make them more effective but also increase the mana needed as well so it would be balanced. so bots can still heal consistantly but it would cost as much mana as a chain healing bot
